The ADAPT Food Group's 'Homemade Christmas' stall under the Buttermarket proved a popular and very civilised venue yesterday morning.
Large crowds gathered as ADAPT members thanked the people of Audlem and district who have supported their Saturday morning stalls.
There was free homemade punch, mince pies and sausage rolls, as well as a number of other homemade goodies to sample.
The spiced Apple punch was particularly welcome as ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) returned from the 'Mend our Mum' singing and a local walk.
Recipes were available and advice on hand to help save a little cash and put some fun into Christmas preparations. In addition there were ideas for homemade decorations with demonstrations and instructions available.
