Poppy display in Williams' window

For anyone who was unable to travel to London to see the magnificent art installation of poppies at the Tower of London, last November – 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red' – we have one single, but nonetheless original one, on display in the (central) window at Williams' newsagents this week.

This beautiful poppy arrived perfectly intact, last Friday, in an equally beautiful presentation box (also featured). It's a simple, but a poignant reminder of those who gave their lives in WW1.

Please take a look if you have not had the chance to see one 'up close' before.

It will be in our window for at least ten days, and needless to say, it is not for sale!

Please note: our display is not part of any fund raising campaign, but we do have a collection box in store, for anyone wishing to donate to The British Legion.
