The Cheshire 'Meet the Developer' Event
A One-day Event for Cheshire Communities to Engage with Developers 12th March 2015, 10.00am to 3.30pm Crewe Alexandra Football Ground.
This one-day event has been organised to bring together Local Councils and organisations that are developing homes across Cheshire.
The event is a response to requests from Local Councils producing Neighbourhood Plans (and those that aren't) to help them engage with developers and vice versa.
Both Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester are two of the most active Neighbourhood Planning areas in the country and Cheshire Community Action is taking the lead in supporting this engagement.

In addition, we hear from the CPRE that they plan to recommend that the Government amend the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) to make clear that all sites with planning permission should be counted towards the five year supply of housing land.
On the basis of the seven days of legal haggling over the 5-year Housing figures, this might solve the planning chaos issue at a stroke!
Let's hope Government will realise what's happening to England's countryside at present as the likes of Gladman exploit the planning loopholes caused by careless planning guidance.
