Following on from Ralph's article about the Music and Art Festival progress I would like to add details about an extra opportunity to take part in. Ralph and his Audlem Festival Committee have kindly agreed that St James Church can hold photograph and art competitions during this wonderful weekend of music and art.
In order to raise funds for the extensive building repairs needed to the church we will be holding 2 competitions culminating that weekend -- a photographic competition and an art competition -- the latter not to be confused with the excellent art exhibition which is held in the Methodist hall.

PHOTO COMPETITION

SUBJECT Any picture related to 'fragile world ' or St. James' Church
FORMAT 5" x 7"/ 6" x 8" approx. Portrait or Landscape. Colour or black and white.
Printed on paper or card (no frames or mounts)

CATEGORIES Junior Class, 12 years and under + Adult Class

Each entrant may submit up to 3 photos giving contact details and digital info if possible

Deadline for submission in box at church: Saturday May 20th
The Judge will select a Gold and Silver Award for both Categories. The best photos will be included in a 2019 calendar to raise funds for the church which Audlem Printers have generously agreed to provide at minimal cost.
