Parliamentary candidates debate in Audlem

AudlemOnline is planning to host a Parliamentary candidates' debate in Audlem on Friday 1st May in the evening.

Five of the candidates representing the Conservative, Green, Labour, Liberal Democrat and UKIP parties have already agreed to attend.

A sixth would-be MP is now standing as the 'Cannabis is Safer than Alcohol' candidate but, as yet, we do not have any contact details.

AudlemOnline is making arrangements to film the debate and, hopefully, transmit it live.

AudlemOnline readers and local residents will be asked to put forward questions and we hope there will be an interesting mix of local and national issues raised in the debate.

All the candidates we have spoken too were very supportive of the idea and said they looked forward to participating.
