Parish Plan questionnaire

Hundreds of local residents completed the questionnaire asking about their views of living in Audlem which will form the basis of the 2010 Audlem Parish Plan.

Those responses to the thirty five questions have now been analysed by Margaret Roberts, editor of the Parish Newsletter, who has had extensive professional experience over the years in questionnaire analysis.

The results will be discussed by the Parish Plan steering committee at their meeting on Wednesday morning. The committee will also complete the work in forming the various working groups that will be working on a range of local issues.

The positive news from the very first question in the questionnaire is that 99% of respondents, yes, 99% say they like living in Audlem. Their comments included; a good community; thriving village; good social life; good for children; got shops and facilities and people that care.

Those that like a little controversy will be pleased to know that the views on other questions were not quite so unanimous. More on the survey results during this week.
