Pampering Spa Day for Carers

Carers from Audlem Carers Support Group enjoyed a relaxing spa day recently at Alvaston Hall Spa. Well, it was mostly relaxing with massages, a gentle swim, a snooze in the jacuzzi, manicures and a light lunch being enjoyed. The aquarobic and tum-toning sessions were slightly more strenuous and the crossbow shooting was a bit more competitive.

Thanks to Lynn Morear, ADCA's Assistant Coordinator for organising such a well run day for the 10 carers who attended. The day was funded by individual carers, most of whom had recently received personal funding from the Cheshire East Council's Living Well Fund for Carers.

Audlem Carers' Support Group meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at the Lord Combermere, The Square, Audlem. Drop in between 9.30am and 11.30am for coffee, chat and information.

The Support Group is open to everyone who provides care support to family members, friendsor neighbours. You are most welcome to come along and join us. We also arrange regular Carers' Break Days including meals together, craft activities and visits interesting places!
