There's an exciting opportunity available at Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Both operational and support staff have the opportunity to work towards an Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) professional qualification, and the Service is looking for an experienced fire safety tutor to provide support to individuals who are studying for their IFE.

It's a freelance role, dependent on learner uptake, but ideal for someone with a flexible approach and the following attributes:

  • Knowledge of prevention and detection of fire in domestic, commercial and industrial premises
  • Knowledge of buildings, building materials, protection equipment and fire safety principles
  • A teaching/training qualification and/or experience
  • A full UK driving licence and ability to travel throughout Cheshire.
