Open Gardens Weekend

This year our very active team of ADAS -- Audlem & District Amenities Society -- had planned a wonderful open gardens weekend , featuring many beautiful gardens hereabouts .

Then. The plan was struck down, as has so many others ideas , by the arrival of the virus and we entered in the Covid-19 lockdown time .

And we also entered what has been the finest stretch of weather for a springtime , with the blooms and blossoms at their very best . Now the May blossoms and the lilacs amaze us on every corner .

With this article comes some images of one of the loveliest gardens that was to be a feature for the very first time this year . It is a garden of so many earthly delights and has the wonderful addition of some 4 million bees , beavering away collecting pollen to make the most delicious and pure honey .

Such a shame that you cannot experience its delights in person but my photos give you some flavour of the area. Luckily the garden will feature when next ADAS present their Open Gardens weekend for our pleasure.
