Community Cashback Application for Turnpike.

In January, an application was submitted to the Police Community Cashback Fund for project funding to improve the Turnpike Field entrance off Green Lane. (see https://www.audlem.org/news/cashback.html )

Unfortunately we have been informed that our application was unsuccessful.

Here is the response that we received:-

Thank you for your application to the Community Cashback Fund. The Commissioner received an overwhelming response for funding and received bids totalling £364,034.06 which equates to just over 4 times the amount available which was £90,000 across the 9 Local Policing Areas. There were so many worthy projects and this made making a decision very difficult.

All applications were reviewed and scored by a panel made up of community representatives and the Commissioner. Representatives from Community Safety Partners, Cheshire Police, Cheshire Youth Commission, Cheshire Community Foundation and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner scored applications against a criteria and bids were then ranked in order from highest to lowest to allocate the funding.

Unfortunately on this occasion, the Commissioner is unable to award funding to your project. We are truly sorry this isn't better news and we wish you every success in securing the necessary funds to deliver the project in an another way.
