Nightmare on Stafford Street (and not a movie)

Nothing moved as a confrontation between large vehicles in Stafford Street yesterday afternoon resulted in an extraordinarily tall container wagon reversing into and demolishing telephone wires. Two police cars came to sort out the mess and a local resident in her nineties was taken into a nearby house to recover from the mayhem.
