Next Saturday at the Audlem Festival

Next Saturday 27th May, the Audlem Arts & Music Festival has its top billing performance in the Public Hall starring 'Lights Out By Nine', an 8 piece Soul/R&B outfit from Scotland that is making waves south of the border. They have already released two acclaimed albums and will be playing a mixture of old classics and excellent self penned numbers. The support band is Afro Blue who play laid back jazz and soul – just right to chill to before you hit the dance floor with 'Lights Out By Nine'.

Bands are playing throughout the village on Saturday with 'Back Row Plus' on stage in the morning at 10.30am outside the Methodist Church while in the pubs local favourite Jim Kirkpatrick leads Heavy Weather at 9.00pm in the Shroppie Fly and Terra Plane Blues, a duo playing acoustic blues ranging from Skip James to Muddy waters is playing at the Lord Combermere.
