News from last night

I was at the scene of the accident last night on Woore road and the chap that came off his bike had had a heart attack.

Three other cyclists stopped and one, (who happened to be a surgeon), was performing CPR. Anyway, the first responders played a vital part along with the ambulance crew and the air ambulance to keep him alive.

It shook us all up a bit and I was wondering if you hear anything, whether you could let us know how he's doing?

The only clarification we can give is that the incident was not associated with Audlem Cycling Club's Road Race last night which headed out South Westerly from Audlem because there was a burst water main at Hatherton on their original course.
