New Years Eve Fireworks Display

Massive response to Appeal

My previous article inviting pledges to ensure we return this annual event to the village after it did not happen last year for reasons of previous funders not paying for it. I am delighted with the response from a very wide sweep of caring folk; for the wonderful community heart that we are so lucky to have here in Audlem and District I have received over £2000 in pledges to date and I now list as follows those who have stepped forward in response to my appeal.

I must say it was all done via the Facebook page Matt Bonell created for me, not from the chatbox.

Then I will use the funds to drive the best deal now in January and in so doing get the best possible deal from the Pyrotechnic company. I will confirm safe receipt. Again, my sincere thanks for such a big hearted response and I can guarantee the best ever New Year's Eve in the beauty of our Square at Midnight on the 31st of December. Hopefully we will have the Fancy Dress as we used to have in previous years.
