New Year offerings at Oxtail and Trotter

A belated but heartfelt thank you to all of our lovely customers who supported us over the Christmas period -- this is the busiest time of year for us and we found our fourth year probably the best yet!

We not only relish the challenge but also really enjoy chatting to our customers -- to find out how they are celebrating and what they are cooking!

The feedback we have had so far has all been very positive, we are passing this on to the unsung heroes -- the farmers/producers who spend all year rearing the fine produce for our counter.

Weekly Meat Box

As we are slowly getting into the New Year and many of us are thinking about how we can save money and streamline our busy lives -- well we have a great idea!

Why not order one of our weekly meat boxes for great savings and with every box you order you will get a loyalty stamp -- when you have purchased 10 boxes you will get the 11th FREE.

You may stop/start your weekly meat boxes if you go on holiday or know that you are not going to need one on a certain week. Buy What you Need

The beauty of using your local butcher is that not only do we stock the highest quality produce, selected by us because it is the best in the area, you can also buy the exact amount that you need! When you visit the supermarket you may have to purchase 500g of minced beef, here you can buy 150g or 495g -- it's completely up to you.

You can buy one slice of bacon if you wish -- we really don't mind! When you do decide to splash out on a free range chicken -- you can rest assured you will have a fabulous roast dinner and have enough for left overs for the next few days.

Burns Night

We have some of the fabulous and celebrated Macsweens Haggis in stock ready for your Burns Night celebrations. We have a limited stock of this so make sure you put your name on one if you want us to save some, we might be able to get more in if you are planning a party and wish to order several at once but we do need to know! If you visit the Macsweens Facebook page there is a fabulous recipe on there for Haggis Tacos – a modern take on a haggis family supper.

We have a 4-5 portion at £8.50 or a 2-3 portion at £5.50 -- order now to avoid disappointment! Remember, your local butcher is there for you all year round -- not just for Christmas!
