New set of ladders for flags etc

You will recall my alert to the fact that the ladders we use to put up the flags each year belonging to Jo & Allan of the Lord Combermere had been purloined – and we believe by a local!

Well, I am delighted to say that we have had a good response from the few residents offering their help in a 3 dimensional form. That lovely couple, Mike and Chrissie Christian, have
given a set of ladders to replace the lost ones!

All in place and now locked up (locked for the first time in years, sadly).

So good to live here with such fine folks. My thanks too to Kenwood of Chatbox for his very kind offer, but we are OK now.
