Two weeks ago a special edition of the Newsletter was sent out to all households in Audlem.
Since then, several stories have appeared on AudlemOnline reminding you that there is to be an Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting on Thursday 10 July on the subject of neighbourhood planning.
The meeting will start at 7pm in the Public Hall and all residents are encouraged to attend. Free refreshments will be available, with wine supplied by Winegeek.
You are encouraged to read the Newsletter to gain some background information about Neighbourhood Planning. Doubtless there will a number of questions in people's minds and these can be raised at the meeting.
The Parish Council is working with AudlemOnline to help publicise the event and to facilitate a consultation exercise. The agenda for the meeting can be accessed here.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions of the Parish Council and Cheshire Community Action during the meeting and afterwards.
At the end of the evening the Chairman will ask for a show of hands from those attending to determine whether or not to go for a Neighbourhood Plan – although the final decision will be made at the next Parish Council meeting on Monday 14 July.
An example of Tattenhall's Neighbourhood Plan can be found here. This may give you some idea of what is involved – but please note, their Neighbourhood Plan does not include site allocations.
