More delivery difficulties

A correspondent writes about the continuing difficulties faced by the delivery vans in the village: "At 5.45pm yesterday, a car was parked under the arch and forced a Co-op van to reverse into the main road because it couldn't get past it. The van then had to park on the pavement. The owner, who was in the Co-op, is a resident of Moseleys Yard itself and was about ten steps from his personal parking space! I have passed the reg no. to Ken Maple but unfortunately did not have my camera."

It appears that many of the delivery vans are trying to use the archway and make the deliveries to the rear of the shop. The new bollards and the lay-out within Moseley's Yard seem, however, to make their job as difficult as possible. Many in the village are still asking why the planners at Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council didn't foresee this when it was so obviously going to be an issue. After all, many residents pointed it out to the planning department and the councillors on the planning committee when the plans were being considered.
