Missing album – please help

An important historical record has been mislaid, and this is an appeal to AudlemOnline readers to try to help locate it – as well as its value for research, the family are devastated by its loss.

Some two years ago Mrs Williams from Hankelow lent someone an album containing old Postcards of Audlem and some from Arthur Williams (whose WW1 medals are shown in the photo) written to Muriel in WW1.

She cannot remember who borrowed it and it is even possible that the person may have gone into a care home or died since then.

Please could everyone check if there is any chance they may have this album – the cover is yellow with gold chevrons.

If it is found the History Society (via Celia Bloor on 811260) will be very pleased to return it to Mrs Williams.
