Message from Dr Russell Muirhead

I am writing to thank everyone who has spoken or written to me over the past few weeks as I approached my final day at Audlem Medical Practice.

It has been a very happy and rewarding past 20 years, working with a fantastic team of people, and being involved with the lives of our patients. It has been a privilege to be entrusted with the care of my local community, often through the most sensitive events in an individual or their family's lives.

It has become increasingly challenging to maintain the very high standards of care which the people of Audlem have come to expect and I wish my colleagues all the best in their continued efforts.

I am fortunate to be in a position to choose how I pursue my career, hence the move to increase my Shropdoc work in an effort to develop a sustainable Practice workforce which can deliver the care which our population needs.

Thank you for the expressions of support and best wishes which I have received and I wish you all 'good health' in the future.
