Mend our Mum poppy bids

Just to let you know I have already had a substantial offer for the poppy – see AudlemOnline story on Tuesday this week.

I will keep the offer open for a couple more days. I will deliver it at the weekend to the highest bidder during a visit to the Lord Combermere probably.

AudlemOnline adds: Jane has let us know the amount bid and it is substantially above the eBay figure achieved in Tuesday's story. We won't reveal the amount at present but there is a chance to top it still today and own a splendid ceramic poppy and to help the Mend our Mum campaign.
