Well after midnight last night, a shadowy figure was seen slipping out of St James'. It was Andrew Bradshaw, who had been moving the church clock and the bell chimes forward an hour to welcome in British Summer Time. The March change is, he tells us, an easier operation than moving the clock back in the Autumn, which is a very complex process. While many public clocks around the country can take some time to change, Andrew ensured that Audlem, even in the dead of night, was moving on with the times.
