Audlem Public Hall's winter film season starts again on October 18th. Once again there will be two films – one in the afternoon for the youngsters and one in the evening. The afternoon film has yet to be decided – once it is, we'll let you know. In the evening the film will be Mamma Mia! (PG).

Sophie, a bride-to-be, prepares to marry at her mother's hotel on an island in Greece. She seemingly has it all – a carefree life, a loving fiancé, and happy friends. However, one person is missing – her father. Her only wish now is to be given away by her dad at her wedding. By reading her mother's diary she discovers that she has three possible fathers. She secretly invites all three men to the wedding in a desperate bid to discover which of them is her father before the wedding bells start to chime.

But not all goes according to plan: old loves are re-kindled, new loves are formed and Sophie risks everything to discover the true identity of her father.

Featuring the songs of Abba and based on the hit musical, this film is one of the hits of the year. Starring actors such as Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth (which woman can forget Mr Darcy?), Meryl Streep and Julie Walters this is one not to miss. Even people who have seen it before are going back to watch it again.

So make Saturday October 18th at 7.30 pm a date in your diary not to be missed. Ticket prices have been held and will once again be £2.50 for children and £5.00 for adults in the afternoon and £5.00 for all tickets for Mamma Mia!
