M54 bridge repairs delay drivers

Audlem drivers planning trips to Telford can expect serious traffic delays over the coming months.

The Highways Agency is refurbishing three bridges on the M54 at junction 6 Ketley Interchange and Dawley, near Telford from today Monday 29 July.

The £7.5 million scheme will take around 40 weeks to complete, during which time the M54 and local roads will be subject to carriageway or lane closures in different locations and various times.

The Ketley bridges will be closed for around eight weeks and the Dawley bridge for about 12 weeks. There will also be various lane closures on the M54.
