Latest news on Berni

Colin Cliffe has been keeping all posted via Ralph Warburton about Berni's treatment in Houston, Texas. He writes (and this was sent yesterday):

"Berni has to have another small op today. They have to fit an internal drain but it's all ok only using a mild antithetic this time because we won't let them put her in any dange.

"After the drain is fitted we should see a big improvement because at the minute she is just getting no better. She has been in Intensive Care for six days now but after the op she should be able to back straight onto the ward."

Ralph has replied, saying: "Dear Colin, If you can give her my love please do so- and that of so many people here who read the bulletins we place on AudlemOnline to keep Berni in their minds as she undertakes all that is thrown at her. With all my best wishes, Ralph.
