Colin Cliffe has been keeping Ralph Warburton up to date with news of Berni in Houston, Texas.

It has clearly been a tough time. This is an edited version of Colin's most recent news:

"Just had a horrendous few days, they tried to refit the stent on Friday, 2nd attempt and they still didn't do it and unfortunately they had trouble bringing Berni round after the anaesthetic and she has been in recovery and ICU ever since.

"Hoping she will be out today, they are going to try and do the procedure again but they will do it from the outside using only a local anaesthetic.

"Berni is very weak again and they are concerned about her breathing all the time. She did start eating again yesterday, soups and liquids so thats a plus, and she should be back on a ward today."
