Katie raises nearly £4000 for Children with Cancer

In less than 4 hours 30 minutes, Katie Lewis (nee Elliott), crossed the finishing line at the London Marathon.

Anyone that was really eagle-eyed might have spotted her for 2 seconds at the end of the BBC highlights as she ran behind the commentator at the finishing line – fame at last!

Trying to train whilst juggling the needs of two pre-school toddlers and a new job made her feel a little less than fully confident at the start line – however she did it!

Her family and friends are very very proud of her and were almost as tired after rushing all over London to spot her at multiple locations – even spectating at the London Marathon requires a high level of fitness!
