ITV live even earlier

The earlier of the two live ITV broadcasts this morning had to be brought forward because of the siege story breaking in Australia.

As a result the interviews in the Lord Combermere went out at 6.10am – despite that a strong team had already turned up.

The second live broadcast is still scheduled for 8.10am but when interviews are live on national television the broadcasters always have to allow for news – even if from as far away as Australia.
