It's a busy day on Thursday

Quite apart from being glued to the telly as the Scottish Independence referendum makes history, there are at least two other important events on Thursday.

• ADCA has set up a special meeting for carers and friends to hear about and discuss the future of carers' respite and Lincoln House under new proposals from Cheshire East currently out for public consultation. The meeting will be attended by Councillors Janet Clowes and Rachel Bailey and will take place in the Lord Combermere starting at 10.30am.
• Audlem History Society has its regular meeting in the Scout & Guide Hall at 7,30pm. This meeting will hear a talk about Audlem's World War I experiences and there will be an exhibition of WWI memorabilia.
