Is it a nightingale?

AudlemOnline has been sent this photo of a dead bird found locally with the question: "Is it a Nightingale?"

The famous yet skulking summer visitor, famed for its singing, notably in Berkeley Square (albeit a very unlikely location), is rarely seen this far north. Worcestershire is normally about as far up the country as it gets, but you never know.

We had tried emailing the photo to a very keen birdwatcher but the Broadband problems we reported yesterday prevented that on numerous occasions.

Can anybody help? You can click on the photo, and then on the magnifying glass symbol, to see it in detail.

Unfortunately, if it is a Nightingale, we are not going to hear this particular bird warbling away.
