Hummingbird Hawk Moth in Salford

This comment appeared yesterday on Chatbox posted by G&T so we thought a photo might help all those interested:

"Have just seen a Hummingbird Hawk Moth in Salford which, according to a website I have visited, is supposedly a rare sight in Britain or what may be left of it by Friday.

"It is about an inch long and never seems to stop flying as it visited every flower of a bright pink geranium.

"A very busy but beautiful 'wee beastie'. Keep an eye for it."
