Hello to our fellow Audlem'ers/Audlem'ites?
Our opening day (August 28th) looms ever closer, and we are pleased to report that we are on schedule. Fit out was completed on Friday last week, and our Chippie exceeded our expectations having done a super job, carpets followed on Friday, and we have been busy, priming, sanding, and painting.
In fact the next couple of weeks will see more of the same, plus plenty of flat pack tables and chairs to put together, stock to display, and much more, all of which will hopefully take place trouble free in time for our opening.
We will be at the shop most evenings busily preparing, so call in and say hello if you are passing by.
Our paint your own pottery studio will be run by Zahra Whittaker, an experienced exponent of pottery painting having owned and run the same business previously in Berkshire (with the same name), before moving up to Audlem in October 2011 with Husband, Roger, and Son Leo, and later edition Ed who came along last July.
We are really happy to be living in Audlem, and we look forward to getting to know more people and traders within the local community. We hope to bring something positive to the mix, and we hope you enjoy what our new shop has to offer.
We will be stocking a range of blank pottery for you to select, take to your table and paint. With a wide range of stencils, paints, and tools to hand on your table, you can pencil a design and make it come to life. We will be on hand to provide tips and inspiration, ensuring the end result is a special keepsake or gift for you or family/friends.
We will also have a range of gifts in store for you. Workshops are planned too (more to follow) and we are already receiving bookings for Childrens parties.
