Sometimes you feel that you need to do something to help your friends, when it's needed, and because you have something to offer.

So Ian Haughey, the hairy biker in the Amazing Grace DVD, has his hair, not for any reason other than a lot of people would love to see it removed, his 89 year old Mum for one. She too has been living with cancer for a long time.

Now some people remember Ian with no hair, and think that it's time to lose the locks: others like the hair and think it should stay.

Although Tim Lawton from TPL has offered to do the deed, cut the hair off, or trim it up in 30 days time, a number of people would love to take his place – and if the price is right they may get that opportunity.

So, here it is, visit the just giving page:

and pledge 'Yes' to cut or 'No' to keep.

Come an early date in February 2015, all will be invited to witness the outcome!

As Ian's hair is well tucked in under his helmet in the video, we have dug out a second photo which shows off his flowing locks at an Audlem Festival a couple of years ago. Ian, of course, is on the left of this well-dressed trio of Festival committee members.
