The Speaker at the History Society AGM- S and G Hall 7.30 Thursday, Nov. 19th is Rev. Jennifer Matthews – Finding Jesus: My Personal Story
Rev. Jennifer Matthews is the Methodist minister for Audlem Mission Area, which includes Audlem, Hankelow and Hatherton Methodist Churches.
Her degree is in Social Psychology, and previous to coming to Audlem she was employed in youth work supporting NEET young people (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
Jennifer with her husband Clive and their son Luke came up to Cheshire from the Medway Towns in Kent. As I found, rural Cheshire is rather different from 'The Garden of England' – nowadays London orientated and criss-crossed by very busy road and rail. We look forward to hearing her story.
Her talk follows the AGM at 7.30 p.m.
Those who missed the Display of Audlem photos in the summer have a chance to see a large selection on view at this meeting.
