Audlem resident, Rosemary Lewis writes: "Five hand-written manuscript books dated between 1801 and 1837 were discovered recently in a loft in Stoke-on-Tern. The owner of the farm was the grandfather of our John Hardy from Swanbach.

"Now several local musicians have banded together to play these tunes. "A Rural Felicity" will take place in Ash church on Thursday 22nd May at 8.00 pm. This promises to be a truly fascinating and historical evening and everyone is more than welcome. Tickets are £5.00 at the door."
