The 2nd Annual Beetle Drive at the Hankelow Chapel, held on the 21st October, was attended by over 40 people, old and young with ages spanning nine decades!

A good time was had by all with £175 being raised for Church Funds. Thanks go to Ruth and her daughters, Carolyn and Anne, who provided an excellent afternoon tea. Some said it was much better than the buffet provided at Tatton Hall for an event the day before.

Prizes were awarded to the highest scoring adult and child and also to the best drawn beetles. These included alien beetles, different species of beetles drawn by our local etymologist, coloured in beetles and prize winning 3D beetles.

So – start sharpening your coloured pencils for next year's event.
