A reminder that Dan Thomas will be starting his fruit and veg business today in Cheshire Street.

Dan says: "Audlem's new greengrocer opens at No11 today, so why not pop down and have a look at what we have to offer.

"Don't forget if there is something you would like that you cant see feel free to ask I will do my best to source it for you. Over the next few weeks there will be more products added so watch this space.

"I look forward to seeing you all over the next few days. I will be open from 9.00am today."

This was AudlemOnline's report on Dan's new venture last week:

Hi I would like to introduce myself to the village of Audlem. My name is Daniel Thomas; some of you will remember me from when I had the popup greengrocers stall in the courtyard at No11, behind Oxtail and Trotter – see photo.

Well now for the exciting news. I will be opening a greengrocer in the courtyard at No11 Cheshire Street. I will be bringing fresh quality produce to the village of Audlem.

Where possible this will be locally sourced.

My first few days trading will be Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th and Friday 11th September, so why not pop in and see what I have to offer.

I will have a large selection of fruit and vegetables available but if there is something you would like but cannot see then feel free to ask. I will do my best to source it for you.

I will also have a selection of jams and chutneys made locally for sale. The following will be available plus much, much more:

  • Cauliflower
  • Broccoli
  • Savoy Cabbage
  • Mushrooms
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Carrots
  • Onions
  • Swedes etc.

And a selection of fruit including:

  • Apples
  • Oranges
  • Bananas
  • And many more.

Please come along and say hello and make a greengrocer a permanent feature in Audlem.

Yours Dan
I look forward to working with the village of Audlem and AudlemOnline.
