A good place to live

Ralph Warburton writes: "I just had to make a comment on the life we enjoy hereabouts. For a few days now, a fellow has parked a smart looking motorbike in the layby in Buerton. He leaves it there all day – unattended – with a homemade sign offering it for sale. Such faith and such honesty! Marvellous.

"Add this to the joy of seeing the newspapers left outside McKelvey's for folks to take and then to place their money in the honesty slot. We are so very lucky to live in this wonderful area."
