Garden Party next Saturday

Judi Paterson writes: " Welcome to Thailand – beautiful beaches, ornate temples, lush countryside, modern cities, good food, friendly people. Welcome to Thailand – great poverty, sex trade, AIDS, orphaned children.

"If you want to help the innocent victims of AIDS, come to a Garden Party at 4 Hayfields Grove (off Moorsfield Avenue) on Saturday July 5th from 2.30 pm. We are raising funds to support Judy Cook, a trained nurse working in Chang Mai at an orphanage sponsored by Baptist World Mission. Judy also fosters a severely disabled child. She has devoted her life to this work with the disadvantaged and really appreciates our encouragement.

"We will provide cream teas, Bring and Buy, games and Scottish country dancers. All you need to do is come and have fun."
