Funeral of Derek Mckelvey

The funeral of Derek Mckelvey will take place today, Wednesday 23rd January, at 1pm at Audlem St James Church.

As a mark of respect, Williams of Audlem will be closed from 12.30pm onwards, for the duration of the afternoon.

The family has requested no flowers, instead any donations people may wish to make in memory of Derek, will be gratefully accepted at the church on the day, or if preferred, may be left at Williams' shop prior to, or after, Wednesday afternoon.

The family wishes to thank the community for their numerous cards & messages of support and kind words at this sad time.

ADDITIONAL FUNERAL PARKING PROVISION

By kind permission (subject to weather conditions) the Turnpike Field will be open to facilitate overflow parking for the afternoon – closing at 6pm

Also, by very kind permission, the Bridge Inn and Shroppy Fly public houses are permitting parking for the funeral.

The family would be pleased if you could show your appreciation for the additional parking provision, by patronising these businesses, perhaps at some point in the future, if not on the day!
