Following the success of Lee Halls Spoonface Steinberg last year here in Audlem, Freerange Theatre are again, in conjunction with Hoc19 Events, putting on a refreshing comedy double bill of new writing.

The Wake

Judges' Award For Comedy – National Student Drama Festival
As the family patriarch lies in his coffin this one-man play tells the story of the rest of the family and the resentments, secrets and anger that the death has revealed.

Alec, playing all the family members himself in a hilarious reconstruction of events, struggles to make things right with his wife, but will his efforts just make matters worse?
"A sizzling piece of comic theatre.'"The Stage
"The writing is witty, economic and warmly funny." Edinburgh Fringe Review.
"Playful and knowing, the ride is exhilarating but over too abruptly." The List.

Phillipa and Will are now in a Relationship

Inspired by the true story of his friends' Facebook walls, Jon Brittain has created Phillipa and Will (or Willipa): a mutually obsessed, over-sharing Romeo and Juliet for the Internet age.

A filthy, funny, bittersweet romance, told entirely through a Facebook wall-to-wall.
Philippa and Will Are Now in a Relationship premiered at the Brighton Fringe Festival in May 2011, had a sell-out run at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and then transferred to Theatre 503 Autumn 2011.

A fantastic double bill to be staged at Audlem's Scout & Guide Hall Theatre Cafe, Saturday 7th June, 7.30pm.

Tickets are £8.00 and minimum age limit is suggested as 14 years.
Tickets can be reserved by emailing hoc19@me.com or 07748621321 and collected on the door.
