Dear residents
Overnight a Palestinian flag has appeared tied to one of the trees on Turnpike Field.
Turnpike Field cannot be used by members of the public for the siting of flags, billboards, posters, sales hoardings etc. The council cannot be seen to favour any group, religion, nationality or cause over another, hence the reason for the restriction on the siting of such items.
We ask that the owner of the flag please remove it as soon as possible. If it is not removed, we will have it taken down and stored for the owner to collect if they so wish.
