Celia Bloor writes: "WW1 medals have been found that belonged to Jack Newall, son of Mrs Newall who lived to 102, spending her final years at Greenbank (at the junction of the Whitchurch and Market Drayton roads) and who died in the 1950s. She was cared for by a niece, Miss Bell. She came from the Audlem/Winsford family of Knight-Armstrong.

The owner of the medals would like to find someone from the family. All I have found is that her husband had a large family in Scotland but it is not easy to trace people up to the present so wonder if any local inhabitant knows anything?"
