A fantastic Night at the Barn Dance

A fantastic night of fine music, with a superb Caller ensuring that all who were there on Friday night had a very happy Barn Dance in the Public Hall.

The place was full to the brim with yet another sold out event, our third such night of good comradeship. Enjoying a lovely ploughman's supper with the famous Heler Cheddar cheese.

All the foods were prepared and served by the volunteer ladies of ADCA and the initial idea for the dance was prompted -- forcibly -- on Ralph by Ronni Briggs.

Successful raffle by Olive Stretch achieved £450 with superb prizes including a very welcome voucher for a cream tea at The Deli, two superb hampers by Sue & Stephanie.

Total funds raised on the night still to be counted but I hope to see a figure around £1500.
All in all, so much a success that we will ,for sure,be having more such nights in 2018.

Perhaps firstly a Valentines Dinner Dance with lots of lovely dresses and loads of Bling.

My sincere and deepest thanks to all who put in so much time to make for yet another success for the APHAX team and more funds for our wonderful new Annexe.
