But in the case of AudlemOnline yesterday evening it was our server supplier in Manchester that took us off the air with a "planned" outage that lasted from about 8pm to just after midnight.

It was just coincidence that it followed soon after AudlemOnline's own planned implementation of version V of the website for which we had to be off the air for most of Monday.

The editor is watching the viewing figures even more intently than usual as he gauges the effect all this is having on them, and the threat it poses to his end-of-year performance bonus.....
