Downturn Manor is coming to Audlem

We'd like to let people know that the Audlem 5 A's Drama group will soon be taking on the mammoth task of filming a spoof comedy based on Downton Abbey.

Being filmed over several days at 8 locations this 1920's period drama is possibly our most ambitious project yet.

Shooting on location at the magnificent Hankelow Hall we will be aiming to turn back time with period costumes, props, vehicles, horses, hair and makeup.

The script will be written by our very own Colin Cliffe and filming will commence early May. The finished film will be shown hopefully later this year at an event, yet to be arranged...
