Dog Fouling

Audlem Online has received the following message from concerned Church Gate area residents.

In the last month, there has been a significant increase of dog fouling along the public footpath between Church View and Churchfields on both the grass verges and the footpath itself.

The main concern is that this footpath is heavily used by school children twice a day on their way to and from Audlem Primary School.

The size, colour and consistency of the recent deposits do suggest that it may just be one dog to blame, but so far no-one has been able to catch the culprit in the act.

Some local residents spend time maintaining this area but recent grass cutting work has been very difficult.

Can all residents please be vigilant when walking dogs along this
pathway and please use the dog-waste bin provided which is generally well
used by most dog walkers.
