It became clear at the Village meeting on Monday evening that an essential step in getting superfast broadband provided in Audlem is for as many people as possible to register their interest in iusing such a service.

While it would be nice to have the support of our worldwide readership for this project, it is probably not worth completing the form if you are in, say, Australia or America, since BT's fibre optics cables are unlikely to stretch that far.

#Please register your interest now
What is important is that everybody who supports the project in Audlem, Hankelow, Buerton etc, who is served by the Audlem telephone exchange does complete the form, and we only have a few days (the deadline is July 6th apparently, but earlier would be better) to do it.

To register interest, you need to click here ()" target="_blank" rel="noopener" class="emb" title="a>) – opens in a new window or tab"> and complete the form.

We have also put an unmissable headline panel on the website which leads to the same register page.

#Parish Council working group
The Parish Council have set up a special working group to try to ensure that Audlem's bid for superfast broadband is as effective as possible.
