Dead dog found in Hatherton

A local resident writes: "Just found a deceased dog on a grass verge in Hatherton, near the bridge over Birchall Brook, on the same side of the road as The Parklands (Farm).

"A medium sized, black dog with tan on feet, face and tummy. Very slender build. No Collar but could be microchipped. Dog Warden has been informed."
