Dating the photo

The picture we featured in the article asking about Bob Williams has generated a couple of interesting responses from readers:

The photos can be dated to 1967 or after as the registration number of the Austin Cambridge -- KAD 741 E was introduced in 1967. The letters AD show that it was registered in Gloucestershire.
Was it Bob that was sitting in the driver's seat? You can just see a chap in there!
I used to call in to the Shroppie Fly which the buildings behind subsequently became, in 1979 and 1980 and so the whole wharfside scene had totally changed in those 12 or so years.

'Curious' (in chatbox)

There are 3 recognisable cars. The one furthest left is either a Ford Zephyr or Zodiac, the middle one with the registration ending in E is, I think an Austin Cambridge and the one on the right is a Ford Corsair.
From memory the earliest year for a registration ending in E was 1967.
So that photograph was taken in 1967 or later.

We still await any information about Bob himself.
